RTUL is a leading

and leadership in the design and production of Ultrasonic Transducers and testing
equipment, including Thickness Gauges, Flaw Detectors, Concrete Testers and specialized
Pulser receivers. All these instrument utilize ultrasonic sound to examine the internal
integrity of metals, plastics and composite materials.
Each of our Flaw Detectors and Thickness Gauges require a Piezo Electric Transducer to
convert electrical impulses to sonic energy. The resultant sound wave propogates through
the material under test until reflected by a crack, inclusion, debond or the boundary of
the part under test. The reflected acoustic wave is re-converted to electrical energy by
the Transducer. The lapsed time and amplitude of the reflection yields information about
thickness and\or integrity of the part.

in this range. These instruments are being used by the indian industry for more than
fifteen years and have been acclaimed as one of the best in the world.
