Tube Sealing System Tube Sealing System

Ultrasonic Tube Sealing system is designed to be mounted as a station on all types of "inline" and "rotary" Filling Machines. The Ultrasonic energy is applied to the tubes present in the Sealing Station. The switch mounted on the filling Machines initiates the Weld Cycle. The Air cylinder advance the Anvil and Ultrasonic Horn towards the centre line of the tube. The tube is closed to a preset gap and held for the application of Sonic Energy.

Ultrasonic Sealing is a cold welding technique without heater or hot airstreams making it ideally suited for cosmetics,tooth paste and pharmaceutical products. The Ultrasonic Tube Sealing System TS-1000 requires no warm-up time and hence significantly reduces the scrap. The vigorous vibrations generated by the Ultrasonic disperses the product overflow or the splashes which may occur during the filling. The TS-1000 is suitable for all types of plastic & laminated tubes. The operating energy for Ultrasonic Tube Sealing is only 1000W during half a second of operation. During the idling of the machine only 20W of Energy is being used. The continous printing of all the parameter is possible with standard printer.

The system is controlled by Microprocessor giving guaranteed, consistant and reliable Sealing on a production line.

The system consist of the follwing ;

  1. SG-22/ 1000W-36KHZ Generator :- which delivers the high frequency power to the converter.
  2. MPS-3 Microprocessor Controller :- The Microprocessor Controller controls the Weld Cycle, Hold cycle and output power. It also continously stores and prints data of the quality of welds.

  3. The Actuator :- The Converter Horn Assembly is housed in a suitable enclosure. The reciprocating movement of the converter Assembly is achived by the Pneumatic Cycle and Welding cycle, which is initiated by a trigger from the filling mechine. The Actuator assembly consist of Pneumatic Cylinders, Pressure regulator and solenoid valves etc.
